The band was open the other night and some DE/NJ 380's were caught as well.

Spent some time in Newport today, got this system loud and clear (5 bars) on the 396XT with just the rubber duck. Picked up voice on 1 TG 27756. "Base to Platform", "Oscar 1 to Oscar 2". Just a few short conversations about lines. Sounded like it could have been shipboard comms. The only ships I saw at the dock were the CG Buoy Tenders and the mothballed carrier (USS Saratoga). CC was 386.7875.

Pete, once we get enough basic info compiled on this system we should start a link in the Wiki for ref if one has not already been started.

Leaving work today I noticed a new antenna tower on the base near the new public safety building, could be for the new system.

On the Sub Base system, I have to lock out talkgroup 27828
It constantly comes up like every second and there is no audio or encrypted audio that could be detected. Must be data of some type?
I did hear voice on it once on Sunday- "Green Dispatch"
So far I heard traffic on talkgroups:
    27814
    27840

I have created TWO WIKI's for the new 380 TRS's here in New England.

I will be updating them over the next few days, then add them to the Portals

Just waiting on recent Unitrunker info from two users RIGHT-ON-TOP of them, who will be passing the info to me in the next day or two.

    Keep Listening and Searching

Actually copying 386.7875 CC from here tonight, UniTrunker can't quite pull it out of the mud yet but I'm working on it using my PRO2042. The AR5000 hears it fine but it's not set up for UniTrunker.

Regarding the New London system, has anyone caught anything on 386.150? I have a constant signal there but it's just too weak to do anything with or really even tell if it's a CC. One of the beauties of the AR5000/SDR-14 combo is that it can actually see signals that are too weak to make it through the circuitry of the radio and to the speaker. I notice Bill only has one CC listed in the Wiki; wonder if this could be an alternate? Just a shot in the dark but worth a look or listen by someone in the area.

Only the Pri CC was listed till this am, info slowly being distributed out from follks running trunker, trunk88 and unitrunker
who are watching and matching radios to tg's to get a handle on the system.

One caution is that a TG or Console ID could be from anywhere in the WOLRD [Yup - World] as we have actually hear Nofolk VA, San Diego CA and talk of ?? Italy or Spain console checks.

Scott the band was open the other night as a source in RI was getting
    SYS ID 014C-0302 386.2250
SYS ID 0274-0101 385.2625 NAS Lakehurst, NJ TG 65006 = Police

Yeah, I'm looking again and the "signal" is still there, so it's an artifact and not real. The Newport CC is no longer visible here. Like I said it was a shot in the dark. I have to watch this area more often.

For Groton, 386.1 is silent now. Not sure when it went off the air. 386.25 is active.

    Control Channels tend to Rotate.

The Typical Commercial System is 12/24 hrs.

    Public Safety will vary

    502137 = Dispatch Console ?
502### should be all consoles in your area...

Notice on other sites like on Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) 503### was all Dispatch Consoles.

Yes, occasionally I can hear Earle from CT especially when radio service is testing.

502137 is SBNL Fire Dispatcher (Console).
