Re: Help to ID

I have monitored 462.0375R and it's used by Community Ambulance in Marlboro. PL 179.9 is used for voice dispatch. PL 250.3 comes up with a carrier and a quick data burst. I think the data burst Is some sort of GPS monitoring system that tells the dispatcher the location of the ambulance.

Re: Nxdn 464.3875

464.3875 is a conventional NXDN repeater on Nobscott Hill in Sudbury used by NRT Transportation buses for Hudson & Marlboro Public Schools. The RAN (Radio Access Number which is similar to a PL tone in an analog system) is 5. NRT Transportation uses 463.5875 for the Northboro & Southboro Public Scho...

Recently heard 470.350 with a NAC 350. Signal is encrypted. IDs show up as 3700 & 4100 with a talkgroup ID of 1. Only users I can find licensed are Hanover DPW and Westford EMA. Any ideas on who this is?

Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) Buses Gone?

Has anyone heard the WRTA buses on the Worcester Trunked system? They used to be on 856.2625 with a PL of 110.9. I checked 854.4375 which was used by the WRTA for elder vans and heard nothing.

Is the Marlboro DPW on 854.2625 using MotoTurbo encrypted? I have programmed a number of MotoTurbo and NDXN conventional channels in my Whistler TRX-1 and I received them OK. I have a very strong signal with an outdoor antenna, I can hear the digital signal in analog mode, but in DMR MotoTurbo mode ...

No change in signal yet in Northboro. Quite a lot of interesting communications during the Johnsonia building fire. Please let us know when the Rollstone Hill site and/or the 472.725 repeater are activated.

I will monitor some of the frequencies to see what I can find. The Paxton license for Jonathan Breed is Worad (Worcester Radio) who owns a bunch of UHF repeaters for business. It's most likely that Direnzo Towing is using one of his repeaters in Paxton.

National Grid in Central/Eastern Mass

I have noticed the same thing, most low band activity for National Grid is gone. The 48.12 frequency was also active for me in the metro west area along with 47.88 for Worcester trouble calls. I have been told they have (or are going) to UHF, but I have yet to find any activity.
