Re: MA > Worcester Trunked Radio System (new t/g ID's)

My personal opinion, I would add this under "Public Safety Talkgroups" heading/title. seems to be the best suited... 691 | MEMA Simulcast | MEMA VHF statewide repeater simulcast | 2019.07.06 sawyer100 add under "Police Department Talkgroups": 4375 | F4 TRAFFIC | Traffic Enforcement | Encrypted (ful...

TG 185 was just active with talk of an Alert 1 for an aircraft with a gear problem that was going to do a tower fly by. TG 51 also had some related traffic.
Those are both Worcester Airport Talkgroups
185 is ORH OPS and 51 is ORH FIRE

The other night while listening to the MSP Analog system on Site 5 heard talkgroup 4816 with what appeared to be tech related breakdown from the 4th events I believe I heard it referred to as TECH A/H but I thought that had a different talkgroup assignment anyone have any ideas? Re: Logan/MassPort TGs

I'm unfortunately too far away to hear Hanscom's conventional freq, I've had it in the scanner for a few years now without hearing a thing. I haven't heard a ton of traffic on 31, but I'm not sure if it's only active when someone from Logan is speaking (like Troop F or Massport Fire Alarm.) TG 507 ...

Re: Logan/MassPort TGs

on TG31, I was hearing sealcoating operations for Runways 5 and 23, which are both at Hanscom. I also heard them mention, "the Air Force ramp," which would further make sense for Hanscom. Interestingly, I heard "Station F to Hanscom" on TG31 as well, requesting "Hanscom" check on a group of suspect...

Re: CT new radio system activity

Yep. I verified it is Site 31 from my SDS200 receiving it. On my drive in today as well I also verified it's Simulcasting. I'm not sure what broadcast location I pick up at home in Woodbury (As Middlebury is blocked from me), but I verified both this and "Troop A Simulcast" is being broadcast from ...

Re: CT new radio system activity

Verified the Troop L control frequency on the Type-II system is dead in Woodbury. I checked and found a control channel for P25 CSERN system utilizing a old Troop L 800mhz frequency on the new CSERN P25 system. This was an old Alternate Control Channel for the SmartZone system, makes sense so the r...

Connecticut State Police switched over to the new P25 system today. Guessing some of the 800mhz frequencies from the SmartZone system will start to be moved over to the P25.

So just for an idea West Haven for instance will be 25601,11560 or 10157, I'm a bit confused as you're saying to add 10001 to the tax code West Haven (Tax code 156) would be 256xx talk groups, 10001 + 15600 = 25601 so that would be there first possible TG. (Note West Haven does not haven any plans ...

Can anyone confirm on the Commonwealth of Mass State P25 system, Cambridge Site, TGID 1241 - Cambridge Animal Commission - Animal Control? I saw that as well, it was P25 encrypted so it's not possible to tell who the user is. Based on the radio IDs that were on it I would guess it's a radio tech talkgroup.

By the way, I'm pretty certain 464.425 D205 is the Copley Place Mall and not the Cambridgeside Galleria security. Confirmed Cambridgeside Galleria Security and Maintenance today, still TG 1223 on the Cambridge P25 system. They have started to buy 800MHz APX radios, so i doubt they have any plans to...

Re: CT new radio system activity

I think those were all added around the time of rebanding, 2012 perhaps? As you show, about half are secure talk groups. the others are clear. When the P25 upgrade is complete, it is looking like many of the interop talkgroups will be realigned to a new template. This is probably why there are some...

CONNCOM 2 - ? CT TAC A - ? CT TAC B - ? CT TAC C - ? CT TAC D - ? CT TAC E - ? CT TAC F - ? CT TAC G - ? ...

MEMA has a UHF frequency for interop with MBHSR agencies. 471.6875 NAC606 is MEMA Metro, however most MEMA Broadcasts that I hear in the Boston area only come over the Boston VHF Channel (153.9650) and the MEMA Statewide TG (38896). I only really hear the UHF channel active during special events.

It would seem, at least to me, to add channel loading to the other TGs and reduce efficiency on the Turnpike itself. Or maybe, they are going to just intermingle off road cruisers with turnpike cruisers? I guess we'll see how it shakes out. More scanning opportunities. Been listening this morning. ...
