Re: Unknown NXDN Frequencies

452.4125 was licensed to County as WQEX639, but it expired in 2016.

Re: Unknown NXDN Frequencies

FWIW, there is an NXDN control channel being transmitted from Mt Agamenticus in York, Me. on 452.4125. I don't have the ability to monitor NXDN trunking, so I don't know any details about this freq (or even which system is belongs to, it isn't licensed), but I thought I would point it out.

You shouldn't need to enter a custom band plan, just the control channels for each site. Which scanner do you have?

TG 672 is being transmitted on the Mt Aggie site (43), all encrypted. Radio IDs are in the MSP mobile radio range (1101xxx).

Re: MSCommNet Thread II

I received transmissions on an 800 MHz mobile repeater from a State Police cruiser today in South Berwick. 851.6875 was transmitting a P25 control channel showing a system ID on my BCD396XT of 0077h. It didn't show a site ID. I actually swapped that freq into my scanner as a CC and received Zone 1A ...

I hadn't thought of adding 155.970 into my radio after the switch to MSCOMMNET. Most IFW TGs are encrypted. Forest service is dispatched on the Zone primary channels, I have very rarely heard any of the Forresty TGs active.

In the clear or encrypted? A post on RR (with no sources cited) stated they would be encrypted on the new system.

Re: Massive Gas Leak - large scale incident - Lawrence-N Andover-Andover

I know a fire LT from NH. He reports that departments as far north a Concord have responded. Running cards go up to 10 alarms, and at last count they were 20 alarms above that. Dover, Rochester, and Durham from Strafford County and several Seacoast departments (Portsmouth, Rye, North Hampton) also ...

South Berwick Dispatch closing 8/29

Sanford will take over dispatching Berwick and South Berwick, effective August 29th.
South Berwick and Berwick frequencies are now patched together, and SBPD units are using 200-series IDs (Berwick remains 100s).

Re: USS Manchester

I'm not hearing an unidentified CC in the 380-420 band or 457 MHz band; I ran a limit search from the USS Albacore park, about 1/4 mile from where the ship is docked. Could be 457 MHz conventional rptr?

I have a Uniden BCD396XT in my car, and I currently have a UHF-to-SMA adapter like this: https://www.talleycom.com/viewProduct?rlProdNum=R/FRSA3457&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvKDK4_yD2wIVgUoNCh0Aww8NEAQYAiABEgK9ZPD_BwE connecting the coax to the radio. Would it be beneficial to replace it with a UHF-to-SMA j...

What's strange is that none of those freqs have an FB2 or FB8 station class, only FX1 and MO.

I don't know what the plan is for those freqs (if any), I would program them in as conventional freq so you would be able to monitor any activity.

Re: Does Anyone Ever Use VHF FM Simplex Any More?

When the bands were open last week I heard quite a few folks on 146.520. I worked a station on .52 in Standish, ME from Rollinsford, NH with a HT running 5w and a full-wave loop antenna in my backyard.

Dover Community Services is now DMR on 150.995; CC-1, TS-1, TG-244. Dover doesn't have a DPW or highway department per se; Community Services is the city department that handles snow removal, road maintenance, flushing hyrants, etc. And a note about the fire department, they are doing their tone ale...

Interesting that North Reading Fire uses a DPL of 664.
Even more interesting when you consider that the telephone exchange for North Reading PD is 664!

It would be a P25 system, correct? Unless they borrow a Moto or EDACS system off a decommissioned vessel? I'll give tracking it down a shot when she's in town.

Dan, did you hear anything from Berlin or Gorham PDs? I was in the area Friday, and didn't hear a peep on 155.520 or 155.370, although I was only listening for about an hour.
