I found an expired License for 155.325 in the FCC Database. There is also pager service license in the 72mhz range.

Re: MEMA UHF Boston.

The freq was 471.6875 with a DPL They had been for the last year patching the vhf and 800 tg’s to it. I had been monitoring daily, hearing mema and weather alerts, along with the covering supervisors from dep calling off their locations. It just in the last week it went silent.

Has MEMA UHF gone off the air in Eastern Massachusetts. Have not heard them in several days, but are still hearing them on the 800 and VHF. Anyone else noticing this?

This is not typical. Are you sure that you have the correct repeater input for the PD, as it could be bleed over on your receiver. I find it unlikely that a PD radio system isn't licensed, Pd's are kinda sticklers for the rules. You should conduct a frequency search on that frequency thru the FCC da...

They actively use it daily in analog mode. Usually for details and other non-important traffic. It's rarely used in digital mode. But it is used on digital for secure communications, as their channel 1 repeater is analog only.

Nstar MotoTRBO Call Group ID's

Has anyone been able to determine the Digital MotoTrbo call groups used on the for the UHF Nstar radios for the old Boston Edison Division, covering metro-west of MA. I have been trying to decode them with no luck for Waltham, Framingham, or Dover areas. I am also noticing that the 158.160 DD Dispat...

I know that the Icom Portable that you saw works on 464.5500, I don't know what the PL is on it. The lifeguards use them for non repeaterized communications between the lifeguard stations on Nantasket Beach and Carson Beach. (obviously not Nantasket Beach to Carson Beach, but within line of sight be...

I have heard them refering to Channel 16 also. I found that when they refer to Channel 16, they are refering to Marine VHF 16, or 156.800.. That is usually the harbor island units that are communitcating with either the Coast Guard, Harbor Master, State Police marine unit or other boats. I have caug...

They are using their old freqs. 464.2625 + 464.6500. It appears that they shelled out $$$ and went upgraded to MOTOTRBO. Unless you have a TRBO radio and the know-how to figure out how it works, you won't be listening yet. They are running site connect so it doesn't matter which one is monitored, yo...

More or less, yes. Mount Ida had contract security, Lasall had/has Police. The Lasall Chief took it over as a combined force. Most of the contract security went elsewhere, except for those that have an academy and applied to work at Lasall. The FCC website is down, and it makes it difficult to look ...

I am getting the enviro pd on all 3 of the 780s I have running here. Zone 5. Id guess either you are missing a voice channel, have the wrong talk groups, or just simply getting caught on other active and programmed talk groups.

FAST shall have no other op...
