Heard from someone over the weekend that Worcester was going to make the "cutover" tomorrow (Tuesday) using a single Control and Voice Channel and one site to start. If I was going to add the P-25 Talkgroups and relevant frequencies on a Uniden BCD-996XT, should I create a new System or add their Co...

Most radio companies don't respond to such requests. I would just use the tone search and let that do the work. That is what is always recommended here. I received an e-mail from the DPW Director which contained information from the radio system installer indicating the new frequency is 154.1825 wi...

The Wayland D.P.W. commenced operations on their new frequency of 154.1825 Mhz the middle of last week. I can receive both sides of the conversation without a PL Tone, but I'm sure it has one. I've asked the Director to assist me in obtaining it, but any help appreciated from other listeners as well.

MassDOT and MEMA 800 TalkGroups on MSP Trunked System

I was considering adding the MassDOT and MEMA TalkGroups listed in the WIKI to my scanner, and was wondering (A) How active are they, and (B) Are they Statewide in nature or do the TG's cover individual Zones within the MSP Trunked system ?

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
