Re: Comtronics UHF MotoTrbo TG14 Partners Radiocheck

Listening again today, TG 54 popped up. The audio was somewhat muddy, but I got that it was valet related traffic. At one point someone identifying as "Operations" asked who the people on the radio were and what they were doing. When the field unit said "Valet for mumble, mumble, mumble, Operations...

Re: TD Garden

What is the LCN order? I believe the order from RR was messed up at one point. I'd also give scanning the frequencies conventionally to see if it's a tracking issue.

Re: D&D Dispatch

It's very odd, at times you'll be able to hear the driver speaking in the background presumably coming through a speaker at the dispatcher's desk. National Express had a similar duplex system when on the Comtronics analog system, but they went to a more conventional setup when the moved to the Conne...

Re: Help finding certain freqs in greater Boston

Going back to the original topic regarding Eastern Bus, I do also get traffic on TG 600024 that sounds similar to traffic on 600023. "Wellesley Base" was mentioned, and the the unit numbers buses/vans had 3xx vehicle numbers, similar to 600023 which had high 2xx-3xx vehicle numbers. On 600023, I hea...

That would be the original Boston site, I still have the old Metro Repeater site marked as Waltham in my scanners even though the site has apparently been moved.

Re: Help finding certain freqs in greater Boston

This is both the fun and the annoyance that comes with trying to identify rented frequencies/talkgroups, it basically comes down to educated guessing or hoping that they say their company name on the air. Give TG 1-10-101 on the Dispatch LTR Boston site a try, it's definitely a school bus company op...

Re: D&D Dispatch

That's interesting, that would suggest that they're using either a rented conventional frequency or rental trunked system such as this. The system is odd in that it seems to only have one user (whom I believe to be VTS) while at the same time being the only MPT-1327 in the area that anyone knows of....

Re: D&D Dispatch

That's the MPT-1327 system that's to my knowledge only used by who I believe to be Veterans Taxi. It appears that they have at least two talk groups, one for the dispatch side of the conversation and the other for the cab/The Ride side. Traffic on the voice channels sounds very similar to the GLSS o...

Re: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority

I remember reading something back when DMR for the x36 was in beta mode that a firmware update resulted in having to divide the LCN in half and rounding down for LCN on TIII systems. I've noticed that the 436 doesn't seem to track the JetBlue system as well as it used to, but I'm not sure if that wa...

Re: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority

I do, it's been a while since I set up a TIII system but the only difference I remember is that the LCN numbers are much higher than on other systems. I did notice that on another TIII system (JetBlue) the LCN finder didn't find a LCN for the channel that is beaconing.

Re: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority

If memory serves, I got the LCNs from a post from either RR or here a few years ago and they seem to work, but I'll give LCN finder a try during the Auto Show if I get good reception. For TG's, I've confidently identified the following: BCEC 1048678 - MCCA Public Safety BCEC 1049278 - BCEC Transport...

Re: Help finding certain freqs in greater Boston

That's correct for Eastern Bus, Network 171 Site 69. That talkgroup is one of only a few regularly active on that system on the Boston site. I just left my 436 recording last night into this morning on the Galleria Mall Security TG and can confirm it's still active with traffic that confirms it's st...

Re: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority

I get intermittent reception not far from Logan with a 436HP and a SRH77CA. I have it plugged in as follows: 854.0375 - LCN 244 854.3375 - LCN 268 854.5875 - LCN 288 854.6625 - LCN 294 856.0125 - LCN 402 I've logged about 30 TGs and have tentatively ID'ed about 10 of them. Let me know if there's any...

3) The Capacity Plus system BPS uses is very odd. The only non-private calls I've heard have gone over TGs 110, 120, 122, 130, 140, and 150. Most were looking for drivers in particular areas to help with pickups, I haven't listened enough lately to pin down if they're assigned by areas or school (Hi...

Harvard University Capacity Plus

Harvard University Campus Services in Cambridge is now using a Capacity Plus system to replace their LTR Passport system. From my monitoring, 700 and 800 are both cab companies in the North Shore area, possibly the same company . Locations mentioned by both include Peabody, Lynn, Beverly, Danvers, and Middleton. Both mention "Staying in Peabody or going to Beverly," I've gotten Car #s 1-15. Based on all that, my educat...

Re: Massive Gas Leak - large scale incident - Lawrence-N Andover-Andover

From what I've heard, it appears that Events-1 is used for fire-related operations, Events-2 is used as a coordination channel between services, Events-3 is used for LE operations with NEMLEC coordinating, and Events-4 has been seen used sparingly compared to the others and sounds like it's being us...

American Airlines Logan Airport Capacity Plus

American Airlines has been operating a Capacity Plus system at Logan Airport under license WPRG409. The frequencies have a color code of 7 and LCNs are as follows: 452.6875 - LCN 1 452.6625 - LCN 2 452.6375 - LCN 3 The bad news is that all talkgroups are encrypted. I do have a list of talkgroups tha...

Re: OneVoice TG 100600 Unk Ambulance provider

Based on listening to 100600 on the OneVoice system, I've found the following unit designations: 52, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 82, 84, and 88 It should be noted that it appears (from photos on the internet and from the handful of times I've seen National trucks) that National unit ...

Re: OneVoice TG 100600 Unk Ambulance provider

I completely forgot about RAM, I wasn't sure if they were still around. They're a definite possibility, but given that they're only licensed for 5 trucks I'm still leaning toward National. The unit designations seem to match what I've seen for National as well, in the 6x-8x series whereas I believe ...

Interesting, thanks for the confirmation. Further listening of the OneVoice TG is definitely required. The only other likely candidates I can think of would be AMR or National Ambulance. OneVoice TG 100600 Unk Ambulance provider

On the OneVoice MotoTrbo system, once in a blue moon I hear traffic on TG100600 on the Boston site that pertains to an ambulance company operating in Chicopee and Holyoke.
