Talkgroup 38000 is County Fire OPS-3, which is often patched to surrounding Plymouth County channels when Mutual Aid is involved. I think Chuck is mixing up OPS-3 with Barnstable County Control?
My guess is that whatever fixes were made recently did not solve the issue. Keep both the conventional and trunk system talk group programmed, that way you won't miss anything.

It "was" used for Military Police I believe at Joint Base Cape Cod, but it may have been abandoned by the base. I monitor it quite a lot and rarely if ever do I hear comms from there, and I'm about 2 miles away.
