It is interesting.

Ahh that sounds about right, Cheslea and Revere end up covering each other pretty much daily. Will be interesting to see if more cities and agencies toy around with patching into the 700

Re: South Shore Hospital EMS to get Weymouth Contract - 2018-07.01

Today they seem to be using TG 18 for dispatch of transfer units. After a little more listening, some of the transfer units are on TG 18. Others are still on 463.225 PL 156.7. The dispatcher is simulcasting on both, but there is no cross patch for mobile units between the two. It looks like the are ...

Re: Update Issues

Good work. I plan to continue as I have time hitting random Wiki pages and checking on external links. Websites come and go with some regularity, even government ones. So, as with frequency information, it makes sense to reconfirm them from time to time. All 2,009 wiki pages have been viewed and tho...

Re: New Boston Area CoMIRS TGs

It was a Chelsea engine that I heard. Maybe on the Revere frequency which was patched to the TG, but Chelsea.

All of the MBHSR agencies have radios with all of the others programmed in so it wouldn't be a surprise to hear them.

Re: Update Issues

I took a look at it, but I don't think I changed anything. At least not on purpose. On the VT and RI military pages, I removed the formatting characters that were causing issues, but nothing else. I've correcting the external links that returned 404 messages when I can find updated pages. Those aren...

I noticed that the VT military and the RI military links in the wiki load as blank pages. Also, I would be pulling my hair out working my way through the bugs. Great job you guys, a lot of patience and sacrificing your free time. Appreciate it on this end.

I figured it out after a bit. That message applies to new/updated passwords only. I guess it will nag me to do something, but allow me to just click through with the old one. Kind of weird, but not a problem.

The Wiki now seems to require a ten character password. Can that be changed or do we need new passwords?

Re: New Boston Area CoMIRS TGs

I heard 4161 talking to what I think is Boston Fire Alarm. They were cleared and heading back to quarters. Seems like it might be a Metro Fire talk group, not a specific Chelsea one.

As Bill would say, "hit the search button." With everything going on, there is likely to be a lot of traffic we don't normally hear.

Re: Worcester P25 800MHz Trunked (unknown talk groups need identifying)

The system is designed to work in and around Worcester. I don't get it when I'm down in the Hopedale/Mendon/Milford area unless i'm up on one of the hills. A quick programming question.... I live in N. RI and have programmed in the new Worc P25 system into my 436. I am unable to pick any transmissio...

Re: Lifepact Ambulance

I just found it. I stumbled on the ATG page and there it is. I'll do the ambulance page in a bit. Ah I see it, on the "All Talkgroups" page. Later on I am going to merge the ATG page into the main RISCON page. The only secondary page should be the UNID page. After the updates are completed. Edit: Ga...

Re: Lifepact Ambulance

I've looked on the RISCON Wiki page several times and still can't find it. Is that the page it's on? Yes, they are on RISCON tg 194. They did a transport from St. Annes Hospital here, to Hasbro last week. Thats the last time I heard them. It was on the South zone. If you check the wiki, you'll see I...

Lifepact Ambulance

A few weeks ago, I saw an ambulance marked "Lifepact Ambulance" with RI plates. I did a quick search and found out that it's operated by LIfespan out of Hasbro Hospital. Apparently, they have one adult and one pediatric critical care unit. I did a quick FCC search, but found nothing on line about th...

463.4875 is licensed to Dana Farber under WQKQ706 and 461.8625 under WQGP361. 463.4625 under WQIY385.

I don't know if the last two are in use for something else.

Re: All is quiet!

I read an article on line today that said that recreational marijuana stores were petitioning the Governor to allow them to re open. Medical stores can be open because they are considered essential. Based on that, I think the busy traffic a couple of weeks ago was the weekend before the shutdown too...

Re: Larger LTR or Dana Farber Transport

The license information on the FCC page indicates that the frequencies will be used for security at the hospital. The transmitter seems to be on the building, so that makes sense. Dana Farber is an outpatient only facility. Transport would be mostly a matter of moving patients around in the building...

Re: All is quiet!

There was no radio traffic on TTG 510 this morning, but had to go out, so I went by 1400 Chestnut St.There was one bored looking security guard out front. There was also an empty BPD cruiser parked on the side of the building. I guess the weekend rush is over, so they've cut back to one guard. Every...

Re: All is quiet!

When I look up 1400 W. Chestnut Brockton, MA on Google Maps, it shows both In Good Health and Medwell. I'm working on the premise that Medwell bought out the other company. I'm interested to find out if it's private security or Brockton PD doing the security. Some of the radio traffic leads me to be...

Re: All is quiet!

Maybe what I'm hearing is actually "Medwell" instead of "medical. Which would make sense. Or maybe they have separate facilities for recreational and medical customers. That would explain the reference to police stopping by. 1200 Chestnut is listed as "In Good Health" dispensary with "medical" and "...

Re: All is quiet!

Radio traffic is pretty much normal this morning, at least on the ICE MotoTrbo system. I'm still listening to Foxboro. No hits on TG 510, and not school buses, but other businesses seem to be active. Yes, I haven't tried any other sites today. They're shutting down at 5:00PM.

I also heard TG 390, which is MedFlight with the base referred to as "Flight Operations."
