BCT15XT HELP

Im trying to put these two freqs in my scanner 152.202 and 152.2625 just like they are stated here and when i do they program as 152.200 and 152.260..

Any ideas??

According to the manual, the range from 150.800-161.995 is in 5KHz steps: http://info.uniden.com/twiki/bin/view/U ... CT15XSpecs. I wonder about that, since the scanner came out in 2009, yet my RS does the narrow frequencies, and it's a 2006 vintage.

The correct step for the VHF band should be 7.5KHz, yet many scanners default to 5KHz or 12.5KHz which results in some of those channels not lining up just right. The frequency doesn't have to be exact, so programming .2600 instead of .2625 should still work fine.

I moved this thread into "Scanning Equipment" rather than "Website & Message Board"

With the older scanners that had the 5KHz default, I recall programming the channel and changing the step at the same time and it worked. However, 152.2020 will not fit any of those steps and i would suggest it is in error. Perhaps 152.2025?
