This season has been very trying with players going down, sometimes 2 or 3 a game and it all hurt them in the second half of the season. The coaching staff did a hell of a job filling in the slots left by injured players all season. Tom Brady was passing pretty okay today, he sure faced a tough defense, but the receivers were just a half step behind pretty much all day. If Gostowski had made that point after early on I think it would have been a different game.

I think the Panthers are going to crush the Broncos.

Had they kicked the field goal on 4th down, this thread may have continued longer than it will. I'll let it run for a few days so everyone can lament this shortcoming, and then we'll start fresh with 2016's thread.

I agree, Panthers will wipe the floor with the Broncos.

The Panthers put a beating on the Cardinals last night . 49-15 is statement. As was the two point conversion when they got to 40. I really thought they were going to hang a 50 on the Cardinals. I agree that the Panthers are going to win in two weeks. The Patriots just announced that they let their Offensive Line coach go. Dave DeGuglielmo was being praised as recently as November.
We're peace loving people, we're not hunting trouble, but if trouble should find us, we'll stand up and fight.

----
New England Patriots rookie coming to Maine for Navy duty
// Stars and Stripes
Rookie long snapper Joe Cardona finished the postseason with the rest of his fellow New England Patriots with a loss in the AFC final in Denver on Sunday.
He then headed back to his other full-time job.
Cardona will spend several months training as a U.S. Navy officer before reporting for duty as a surface warfare officer on the future USS Zumwalt.

O well.. the New England Patriots will face the New England Texans (well, they have plenty of former Pats)

Would be Vince Wilfork's last game ever at Gillette if he decides to retire during this offseason.
