For several days now I have been hearing Sandwich Fire calling their ambulances 456, 457, 458, and 459 as A-1, A-2, A-3, and A-4. They are also calling Engines 451, 452, and 453 as Engine 1, Engine 2, and Engine 3. Not sure if this is specific to their department or part of some new county numbering system.

From what I can figure out, Ambulance 459 is A-1, Ambulance 458 is A-2, Ambulance 456 is A-3, and Ambulance 457 is A-4.

Re: Sandwich Fire Apparatus
Another update to the ambulances in Sandwich;
They have placed a new ambulance in service at station 3, and it is County number 457 and Sandwich A-3 on Sandwich fire alarm. The former A-3, ambulance 456, I believe is now A-4. The former 457/A-4 may have been taken out of service.
