MSP TG 36752

#1 Post by garys » 21 May 2018 20:27

Rehobeth Police used to be on the MSP trunk with TG 36752. I think it was 2-3 years ago that they went to conventional UHF. I never removed the TG from my scanner and it popped up on the scanner today. It sounded like PD traffic, but I'm not 100% sure of the agency.

I don't know if someone flipped a switch and reactivated that TG (if that's possible), or if someone else is using it.

Might be worth a listen.

Maybe it's still in their radios as a backup or secondary channel?

I suppose that's possible if they have newer APX dual band radios.

That is Rehoboth PD back on their 800 talkgroup. Started last week. Not sure if they're having an issue with the UHF channel. I'll try and listen to both and see if they're simulcasting, or just back on the 800.

Thanks, Pete. I don't usually get the UHF channel, so I can't compare the two.

Not simulcasting and no hits on their UHF channel (460.0375 203.5) in the last 6 hours. All comms back on the 800 TG (36752). The UHF appears dead. That's all I know for now.
