New MotoTrbo Trunk system

#1 Post by garys » 17 Aug 2018 14:10

On 464.225, I found a new Con+ system.

ID is Network 149 Site is 2. Neighbor List shows 1, 3, 4, CC is 0.
Site 2 shows two frequencies and four OTA slots. Two different TGs so far, not a lot of activity.
464..225 is Channel 3 and the current control channel.

There has been some activity, but I haven't found a license with likely other frequencies as of yet.

I'm not familiar with them. Are they a SMR?

I'm not familiar enough with the licensing/technology to be sure, but I thought that Cap+ was a proprietary Motorola technology.

According to a thread on RR, this system is based in Maine. The RRDB page is https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=8822

I guess propagation must have been pretty good the night I heard it.
