154.2950 - 203.5 is alive... sort of

#1 Post by W1KNE » 02 Jun 2018 13:33

All morning there has been strange activity on 154.2950 / 203.5

First there were these transmissions that were echoing. The echo was so bad, it was basically unintelligble. And at some point between 12:00 and now (13:30), the frequency/PL are on, holding a carrier, occasionally interrupted by a MDC burst, which drops it for a second, then it comes back on.

It's not strong at my house here in Taunton, so I am unable to tell where it is coming from.

It ended around 11:30 that night I posted this. Went back into hiding.
