MSP Troop F

#1 Post by gillham » 15 Jan 2019 22:32

Has anyone else caught TGID 1072 on the MSP Analog Trunk? I can't recall what site it was.

I believe it's MSP Troop F's Main Dispatch channel, because I later heard MSP Troop F calling Boston on BAPERN for a disabled vehicle on Summer Street. I heard '1045' calling someone on TGID 1072, but the transmission came in clipped.

Anyone able to confirm? I'll submit it to the RRDB and here.

Nevermind!
I don't know why I didn't find it before, but I found it on the wiki: http://www.scan-ne.net/wiki/index.php?title=Massport

Besides searching by Freq, you should also be able to enter a Talkgroup and find all the TRS that have the same TG

Glad you found the info you needed

Honestly, I might've forgotten to search the SNE Wiki using the search feature, and only browsed the site. I did do a search on the RRDB and found a deprecated system, explaining why ID Search grabbed it yesterday - so I assumed that the databases had missed it.

I'll be better about my due diligence in the future :o

Yes, the Massport [Analog] system is DOA and they built new new one into the Commonwealths P25 system [ComIRs]
Cambridge and Boston did the same thing, all now using the State CORE

You will find the new Massport on RR at
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7127

But with the patching between the Analog Network and the P25, some of the info does get lost or obscured.
