New Talkgroup 1360 (Zone 8)

#1 Post by mjd553 » 10 Apr 2019 22:04

Hello,

On my BC895 scanner over the past couple of mornings I am hearing activity on talkgroup 1360 (analog in the clear) and this morning both 1360 and patched talkgroup 1362. Has anyone else heard this activity in Zone 8 or anywhere else on the system? I thought I heard mention of JetBlue but am not entirely certain of that.

If it helps, I heard the transmissions between 7 and 7:30 in the morning. Of course now that I have mentioned this discovery, there was nothing heard Thursday morning.

0715 hours this morning: Worcester Security Patrol to Station F, code 4.

I haven't had the opportunity yet to investigate if this is also on the digital system too. The talkgroup would be 85, I believe.

I can confirm today that talkgroup 85 appeared on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Interoperability Radio System. So do we identify 1360 analog and 85 digital as F-PTL-3?

85 x 16 = 1360. So if 1360 is F-PTL-3, then 85 should be too...

NEW MSP TALKGROUP 1360

#9 Post by TommyT891 » 13 Apr 2019 19:41

I entered the new MSP Talkgroup 1360 into my scanner and received a transmission via F-PTL-3.

So it appears to be operational.

Tom, I merged this in with the existing topic that was started on this TG.

Thanks.
