463.2375 to be identified

#1 Post by ecps92 » 03 Feb 2019 12:04

While doing some random searches and finding some expired license info, need a little help with this one.

463.2375 R D172

Definately a repeater, short transmissions, not much said to ID, sounds like unit making exterior patrols

First thought is Hanover Mall [expired], signal is about the same as the already reported Freq, but is Low Power and weak into South Weymouth

Other thoughts are
Brockton Schools, altho wiki says DMR
Marsh & McLennan in Franklin
Millennium Pharama in Cambridge
Weston Schools
Whittier Condos in Boston [Expired] altho now on DMR with a different Freq

I believe these guys are D315. I haven't been able to positively ID, though, so I've held back.

We can rule out Hanover Mall, they are still on the D606 on the other Freq

I am going 75% with Millennium Phara, based on some weekday traffic of ...
just finished 35 going to 40, since the FCC says they are at 40 Lansdowne St

Will see how strong the signal is, on Tues from the Office area, then add it.

Mystery continues
