American Ambulance Service is now providing EMS services to Kittery and Eliot, from the former AMR building in Kittery. They are toned out the Kittery PD repeater, 155.115 192.8.

Stewart's Ambulance has purchased the EMS contract for the town of Kittery (and Eliot) from American Ambulance.

It looks as if Stewarts has bought the entire company. American ceased operations in MA over a year ago and essentially had only the Maine contracts left. American was owned by Falck, which is a Swedish company. They mostly operate 9-1-1 centers (or whatever number is used) in Sweden, but also own some ambulance companies over there. Falck also own Cape Cod Ambulance.

Stewart's is owned by Transformative Healthcare, which owns Fallon and Lifeline as well.
