And since this was a Multi-Select at the Dispatch Console, likely the Dispatcher wanted both Departments to be aware of the issue.
I'll take your word for it, Bill.

I am just passing along what I am hearing and where on items not listed in the database. If they flash as "UNKNOWN" on my screen, I am recording them when I see them.

There appears to be more traffic on alternate talk groups as of late.

Not familiar with your model radios, but they should be properly handling the Status Bits as they are newer radios
Maybe a missing setting, and someome more familiar will chime in

Some of the older Scanners can not handle/translate the Status Bit and shows the NEW TG vs what the Actual TG is.
NOW it makes sense! That's why I see it as 48 for PD, and 1648 for Fire Dispatch. I have my 106 setup to not see the hex bit, have to turn it on to see what I can come up with.
Bill, I see that 9712 is tagged as an unknown. I hear it referred to as Channel 3 for DPW. Most likely the "Official" name would be OPS 3. I hear traffic on 5232, but I can't make out it's use. I heard something about removing graffiti yesterday.

hmmm we already have 9680 as DPW 3, from one of your submissions.
I'm going to hold off on the wiki change/update on this for now.

I might suggest, anyone with Trunker/UniTrunker run the analog system and ID some of the TG's
then as they migrate to P25 we might be able to match them up, as we did in Nashua NH and Boston when
they migrated from Analog to P25

Oops! My bad! I didn't read my scanner programming right. TG 9712 is DPW Maintenance/Equipment Repair channel.

Some traffic on the new digital system, Talk Group 1273 appears to be the school department.

Just posted on the ScanMe Yahoo group for weekly license grants: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSear ... Key=130180
Noticing that the new tower I have noticed erected out back of Lucas tree on Riverside St is part of the new system. More importantly, the emissions are P25 Phase 1. This should clear up the confusion from what was posted on RR saying it would be Phase II.

I've also heard this morning:
1107
1121
1127

1107 sounded like it could have been the Harbor Master. I wasn't paying attention when 1121 and 1127 were logged.

Thanks - Wiki updated

We do need some Voice Channel confirmations as they migrate them from Analog to P25 and slowly decommission the Analog

FYI: Monitoring the CC on the new system from the audio I hear, it sounds like it's now phase II. Plus my 106 won't decode the talkgroups now.

FWIW I have been monitoring from Warren Ave in Portland on my HP2 and have not noticed any changes. Portland / South Portland PD dispatch appears operating under the same analog talkgroups, and all other departments appear as normal.

I am wondering if I may be missing something...

Haven’t noticed any changed on my 396xt either. Can hear portland DPW P25 so they are still phase-1.

Still analog, the only thing I've heard on the new system is DPW and the school buses

What I thought about the system going phase II, was actually my scanner losing it's trunking table for the new system. I have re-entered it, and all is fine, I can hear the new system again!

ajaphoto - Is it possible you also mixed up 1003 vs 1007? I'm going through my recordings from the other day when I was in Portland, and 1003 is definitely dispatch/primary, and I don't have any hits on 1007.
