Lebanon Fire

#1 Post by schwab » 16 Jun 2019 10:58

Last night I heard Lebanon FD dispatched to a call, and units communicating with Sanford dispatch on Lebanon's local channel, 461.3875. I had never heard tones, on units talking with Sanford on this freq before, only Lebanon FD and EMS units talking to each other. Nothing was heard on the county 460.550 frequency, which had been Lebanon's primary in the past. Also, Lebanon has a pending application (https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/Applic ... D=11565884) for frequencies 155.9325 and 453.575, but not 458.575, interestingly.

453.5750 appears to be a simplex application for a BASE and 75 mobiles, same as the VHF frequency

Lebanon switched their primary to 461.3875 PL162.2 The new VHF is for a crossband repeater and the pending UHF will be a TAC channel.
