Monitoring the Starksboro fire

#1 Post by VermontCUCV » 09 Mar 2018 17:08

Structure fire in Starksboro last night/early this morning. I was fortunate enough to be fairly close by and driving my car that has a scanner installed (which doesn't usually get driven in the snow). Caught some things that are new to me, and some old:

151.1375R, D065, Shelburne Dispatch
154.145R, 114.8, Hinesburg FD
154.280, CSQ, "County Tactical Channel 3"
155.715R, 162.2, Shelburne Dispatch to Bristol FD
155.715R, 114.8, Shelburne Dispatch to Starksboro and Monkton FDs; seems to be Starksboro's primary
155.715, 156.7, Starksboro fireground
157.485, D244, possibly a link from Shelburne Dispatch to Starksboro/Monkton TX site on 155.715, 114.8-- only traffic heard was between Shelburne Dispatch and Starksboro, no other users or tones. I can't find any other info on this. FCC s only shows a commercial radio company that's too far from the area to be what I heard.

Did you mean 151.3175?? for Shelburne Disp
As 151.1375 is a VTAC and should be 156.7 Hz
