NEAR-FEST who is going???
Okay I know wind swept rains have been forecasted for Friday with lighter showers on Saturday as well temperatures in the 30's but that has never stopped all us crazies before so who is going and on which days???
I'll be headed up Friday morning and there both days taking advantage of the Near-Fest Super 8 75. motel deal again.
Last spring even hit the bar across from the hotel with Scott Friday night. Anyways I'd be curious to hear who is coming? I will be at the GEMOTO/PRA area again this year.

Well it's another six months and it seems stupid to start another thread.... I'm sure all the usual suspects are going. I will be once again taking advantage of the NearFest room deal at the Super8 motel in Bedford which this year is cheaper than last. Under 60. even with tax.

RECAP info on the hotel deal
from: http://near-fest.com/index.php?topic=574.0
Once again for those of you looking for overnight accommodations I was able to negotiate an excellent room rate for NEAR-Fest VII at the Super 8 Motel, 2301 Brown Avenue, Manchester NH (603) 623-0883 which is about 15 miles from the Deerfield Fairgrounds. The rate for two adults for April 30th - May 1st, 2010, is $55.00 (yes, you read that right), fifty-five bucks plus 9% NH Meals & Services tax which totals out to $59.95 per night
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=2301+Brow ... p&ct=image
A block of 30 rooms is being "tentatively held" for NEAR-Fest attendees. You must make your reservation by Thursday April 22nd 2010. The hotel has stipulated that you must confirm your reservation with a credit card and the name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card. You may cancel your reservation without penalty more than 48 hours in advance but if you want to beg off less than 48 hours you will be responsible for the cost of your entire reservation unless the hotel is able to resell the room. In this case you will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. There are no exceptions. You must mention the NEAR-Fest "block" rate when you make your reservation or you won't get the deal. Finally, you must pay for your total stay IN FULL when you check in. The hotel wants me to advise you all that checks of any kind are not accepted.
If the person on the desk doesn't know what the heck you are talking about ask for Kathleen - she's the Front Office Manager! Thank her for the great rate.
Amenities include: 6am-10am continental breakfast, High-speed wireless internet, 24 hour wake-up service, Cable TV (includes HBO and HBO2), Complementary USA Today.
Better book NOW - the SPECIAL RATE rooms always fill up quickly and when they’re gone – they’re gone!.
