I am curious, how active is the 220 band out in New England? Here in Michigan, it is pretty much dead. Years ago, there were a hundreds of active Hams on the 220 band out here, but today everyone uses the 2 Meter and 70cm bands.

There is sort of a revival going on here. It was very active for a while, then things cooled off but there has been more activity of late. More people buying radios at least (I have the Wouxoun 144/220 as do quite a few others) since 440 is a lost cause close to Cape Cod with the restrictions imposed on us being a secondary user.

New England has always had some Neat 220 Repeaters, many of them linked.

With the loss of many 440's due to Pave-Paws, it seems 220 interest has been revived

NEREPEATERS.com shows 101 220's
