Not declaring an IFE but returning to Newark per maintenance. "We took a bird strike on the climb out of Newark and our maintenance wants us to return as a precaution before returning over the water. Heard moments ago, Boston Center 118.425, then 133.325. Have not heard since 1945EDT/2345UTC.
