Fire District 8 Simulcast

#1 Post by 14COMM9 » 19 Dec 2018 10:26

Has anyone been able to hear the FD8 800 simulcast on any other zone than the Worcester P25?

I could be wrong, but I think the simulcast is just a Worcester P25 thing. I have never heard the simulcast anywhere else.

The notes on the Worcester Wiki page say that this is a simulcast of 33.70, but I don't see that as a mutual aid frequency on the Worcester County Fire Wiki page. What is the actual frequency this simulcasts?

It simulcasts the 453.750 FD8 main channel

Thanks.

That should probably be updated in the Wiki.

33.70 is the old frequency
31.10 is the new repeater which is cross banded to the 453.75 which is patched to those talk groups.

Any questions? :)
