Some Unidentified Traffic on Frequencies

#1 Post by TheDoza79 » 23 Aug 2018 18:43

484.1625 no tone, I believe it’s licensed to Dispatch Comm out of Hudson. Sounds like an independent ambulance company

154.3475, 136.5, licensed to East Kingston, sounds like the Rock County Seacoast fire dispatch

460.275, DCS 466, licensed to Derry, I remember hearing traffic about tower # to another tower #, but i haven’t monitored it ever since the Fourth of July. Will monitor it now for anymore traffic.

158.370, 88.5, licensed to Beltronics. I have no idea what kind of traffic this is

158.7525, NAC 652, licensed to Hudson for police use, but I heard Hudson Medic 3 over this frequency for a bit and that was it.

Would like to know if anyone else can confirm any of these if you can.

Off of the Hudson site, the ambulance company is likely to be Pridestar. Armstrong seems to be limited to the formerly Waltham, now Boston site. The other site, which seems to have carried the Armstrong "back up" TGs seems to be off the air.

I don't get up close to the Hudson, NH area often enough to confirm Pridestar, but it's a likely answer.

Off of the Hudson site, the ambulance company is likely to be Pridestar. Armstrong seems to be limited to the formerly Waltham, now Boston site.

The other site, which the Wiki refers to as "Boston" is still on the air. The only traffic I heard in about three hours of listening was the Morse Code ID on one Talk Group.

I don't get up close to the Hudson, NH area often enough to confirm Pridestar, but it's a likely answer.

That is PrideStar Ambulance of Lowell on the Hudson site. They have 2 talkgroups on this system:
0-01-151 Ambulance ops
0-01-152 Chair van ops

158.7525 - P25 NAC 652 -- I just popped this in and heard Hudson Medic 2 in route to a call, with dispatch giving acknowledgement.

I was at one of my spots for monitoring in North Central CT a couple days ago and happened to get traffic on this frequency. No PL but analog so I guessed LTR. Since I was searching with my 996P2, I went into the search bank and changed it to Control Channel Only. I got a TGID of 0-01-151 which, when I got home and saw this thread, matched with PrideStar. Traffic I noted was "Operations to 1100" "1100 to MPD"
