Looking for band plan for mscomnet

#1 Post by akfiredog377 » 08 Nov 2018 21:16

Hello, I am looking for the band plan for the mscomnet system. Any help would be great. I live in the L/A area and plan to monitor several sites.

You shouldn't need to enter a custom band plan, just the control channels for each site. Which scanner do you have?

The XTS5000 is a commercial grade radio that could potentially transmit onto the system. We don't give advice or information on how to program commercial radios that can transmit onto public safety bands. (Even if you intend to receive only). If you want to use a commercial radio to monitor a public safety system of any flavor, you need to talk to that entities radio vendor.

Sorry but that's the long standing policy here. It keeps us from being liable when someone does "accidentally" cause an issue (or not accidentally).
There will be no further discussion on this.

Thanks.
