Berkshire County House of Correction

#1 Post by W1KNE » 17 Feb 2019 08:11

While spending some quality time this weekend in the Berkshires I threw in the Berkshire H.O.C. which is on the Lanesborough, Pittsfield lines, off of route 8.

851.0500 was the busiest frequency. DMR, not indicating that it was capacity or connect.
CC 1, SL 1, TG 1000 - ENC. This TG showed up in quite a few intervals. Like you would expect during regular communications. The frequency also had regular data bursts.
As did the other two frequencies. 852.8875, 853.5000. But neither of those had any other traffic.

I am not sure what the TG-1000 is being used for, but am assuming it is security.

BCHOC has been encrypted ever since they made the switch to MotoTRBO.
