TF Green VHF

#1 Post by W1KNE » 31 Jul 2019 13:43

Just heard an EMS call for an asthma attack on an inbound JetBlue flight, to respond to gate 2.

154.9950 / 100.0 .

We have this in the Wiki as DPW, and the EMS as not being simulcast on VHF.

Was this a mistake dispatch or something new?

I have TF Green ARFF as 154.355 pl 100 and TF Green Operations as 154.995 pl 100.0. I would think it was the dispatcher hitting the wrong button on the console unless they were sending someone from Operations to meet Warwick FD at a vehicle gate and escort them to the aircraft.

Right. So unless it was accidental, it's a little odd to hear.

I haven't babysat the frequency today, but will check again soon.

I hear them every day since I'm close to the airport. That's the way it usually goes over there.

Thanks Gil!

I'll chalk it up to a console mistake.
