Re: CoMIRS Coverage Help
most people have generally programmed just the 4 CC's - but...others have done ALL the frequencies, just in case. but YMMV, unless you find that one of the voice-channels belongs to another trunk near-by Thank you all for the responses. This helped tremendously. I appear to be getting Zone 8 so far....

Re: CoMIRS Coverage Help
You could be in a bad spot. Got to the web page at https://www.snewiki.com/wiki/index.php/Massachusetts_State_Police#System_Frequencies and manually step or enter each of the control channels (CC) for Zone 5 and/or Zone 8, see what you pick up I would not think you would get any of the 700 (Metro Bo...

Re: MSP - Lower Basin moving to Upper Basin [Brighton]
Missed that, but, ... most (non local) people don't know that South Boston is part of Boston, and I would think a rumor such as that would have made bigger news... North Reading at one time had 5 Low Power Portable only frequencies https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applFreqSum.jsp?applID=6922624 As you said, likely not Reading, unless the reference may have been for a neighboring town and that is in their Ch.4 ?? For the OP, in what context wa...

Either Seacoast NH or Southern Maine.
No locations given, but is a Bus/Transportation company.
Was thinking it could be WQBX971 - NOBLE HIGH SCHOOL but they are simplex only

Re: Hudson school radIo
:) Always helps to narrow / rule out the image issue. Yesterday at Pease, I was getting so much DMR from 450/460 in the 406-420 and tones of PD's (Non Maine) in the 162-174, ouch , made it tough to nail down some stuff, but the obvious NAC's helped. Back on topic, maybe they found coverage in the sc...

451.2750 will be converted to P25 and use the NAC of 73B , over Tue and Wed Hi, heard that this coming week Plymouth PD will be going to P25, 12th I think they said (FB, so, consider the source!) I imagine they'd keep the same frequency, what might the NAC be? Some of the other towns that just went ...

Re: Hudson school radIo
Dave, just to be sure it is not an IMAGE from Hudson PD's main channel, try it on a 2nd Scanner, that is a different MAKE and see if you still get it. There is a frequency that is assigned to the hudson school district and it sounds like PD is simulcast on it? I discovered it the other day. 151.9250...
