They have a license on 39.18

However, I still consider this as an UnID.

The 107.2 PL occasionally wanders over to 110.9.

A separate transmission heard with no PL logged gave a EDT time zone.
Isn't the log time the local computer's time?

Re: Incident Notification Forum

With the current availability of other options, a forum is an archaic way to notify. A Google form tied to a mailing list would be much more efficient. It takes about the same amount of time to set up.

Re: Live County Fire Comms using Zello

I read this and remembered that I hadn't re-installed Zello on the desktop after a Windows crash. The Attleboro Area Fire Feed is back online. There is a widget available to channel owners that allows it to be embedded on a website and I was trying to aggregate the active feeds at the following page...

Re: Welcome to the new Scan New England website

Scott, Very nice job migrating and maintaining a basic consistency. I just had to migrate Firepics to new software for many of the same reasons as you had here. I tried phpBB, but the database for mine was so messed up that it just threw errors. I ended up going with myBB. There is a lot of backend ...

On the way in to work this morning, NYPD/FDNY UHF was coming in with a marginal signal on Blue Hill Ave from the Milton line to my office on Albany St. I'm running a small unity gain antenna (garage at work has low ceilings), so I'm not sure if it was the radio or the beginning/end of the signal enh...

KD1EMS-Attleboro. Never really did anything with the license. I have a bunch of gear, can transmit on 6m through 33cm, but I think I may have a total of 10 contacts in 17+ years. I've got some UHF P25 gear, but other than that, I'm waiting on Connect Systems or someone else to come out with a true m...

I too seem to have the memory lapse when it comes to renewing. WPWC320 was my first, WQIL960 the second and WQRD823 the current call sign. I had a GR300 (462.650) running off the tower on the house for greater Attleboro coverage, but it has since developed problems and has been taken down. I'm looki...

About 4AM I had FDNY Manhattan, Lowell FD, Seacoast (NH) and the 470 NYPDs coming in. That was on the PCR-1500 with amplifier and on the GP-9 30+ feet up on the tower. FDNY Manhattan was also coming in R5 on the Wouxun Quad band on a discone that's about 25 feet up.

The APRS map has been steadily creeping towards Eastern Massachusetts tonight. Currently receiving all FDNY VHF channels, Weather on all channels except 162.500. I hope it keeps up-I have to go to work, so I don't know if the EMS gods will allow me to listen to what looks like an interesting night. ...

Sitting at Point Judith, RI. NYPD SOD and UHF FDNY coming in full quieting, able to talk into an amateur repeater in Princeton, NJ. Metro Boston FDs and Boston Police loud and clear. Not a lot on VHF, which is surprising, given the APRS paths.
