And it's not low band skip!
VHF-HI is open from here primarily to the north. With the warmer weather for a few days at least hopefully we'll see some more of this. The usual suspects are present; nothing special, but still nice to see.

159.120 CC12 DMR
Well this is a fun one! This is DMR but it is also throwing up some LRRP data, which shows coordinates from two transmissions: 41.61748 -71.24640 41.59266 -71.25668 Both of these show in Portsmouth RI. We have their DPW with a 162.2 PL. License shows that they are indeed licensed for DMR: https://wi...

Re: ICE Unknown Talkgroup 789
I'm running ICE Zone 11 today with that in mind. It seems that both of these TG's have come on recently, so maybe this part of the run is in the queue. Fun to chase down anyway.

Makes sense as the comms seem very similar as stated in the original post. Thanks! Will update Wiki if someone hasn't beat me to it.

Re: Favorite SHTF frequencies in NE
I'll second what Mike says having known him for years. This website is not as rigid as other places. A lot of comments are made tongue in cheek, and I'm guilty of a fair percentage of them. This is a very interesting thread that should continue. Besides, it gives me time to come up with a few other ...

ICE Unknown Talkgroup 789
Okay, here's another one.... TG 789 with very similar comms as outlined in the 809 thread, but no ID for any particular bus company. Sounds like I have heard "Methuen Base" and "Peabody Base" but these people clearly have not been taught how to talk into the microphone. Comms suc...

Re: ICE unkown T/G 809
It's definitely P&B but it seems more like it might be "troop movements". I'm not convinced it's their actual bus line with passengers. I've heard the words "employees" enough times to make me wonder. I also thought about the remainder of their coverage area. You'd think it w...

30.450 active already, and strong. "Jack Mountain" being prominently mentioned. A web search indicates that this is likely Fort Hood in Texas.

You beat me to it. Early start today. Something keying up on 39.14 relatively non-stop with an occasional 162.2 PL showing.

Re: ICE unkown T/G 809
Sounds like this is going to be Plymouth and Brockton. At 1231 I have:
"Braintree, Plymouth & Brockton 43 leaving Quincy with four employees".
Edit: Numerous transmissions, clearly P&B.

I'm seeing this TG on ICE Site 11. Running DSD+/FPMA. It should record audio. I'll let it run for a while and report back later.

40.67 is blasting in here right now. I came across that the other day and ignored it thinking it was some type of local interference.
Edit: Queen Beatrix Airport in Aruba is in and out on 38.275 as well.

The bursts of data heard on the SDS200 are images and not the real thing. Nothing via the other setup as of yet.

Re: 461.3875 DMR CC07 TG 201
Longshot but I wonder if this could be the Amazon Fulfillment Center in North Plymouth, just off of and visible from Route 3 on the southbound lane side. It doesn't fit the scheme of their talkgroups as shown in the Wiki but interestingly enough we don't have any information for this warehouse at al...

Re: 461.3875 DMR CC07 TG 201
If it's MBL I've never had much luck even from here, and they were one of the first around here to switch to DMR. I have FMPA/DSD+ FL on it and will report if I hear anything. I monitored it yesterday with my SDS200 and heard a few bursts of DMR data but the FMPA/DSD will be more revealing.
