Office Evans is being laid to rest today in North Adams. He was a graduate of Drury High School and Western New England University.
We remember everything he did for us, and the ultimate sacrifice he gave.
Please throughout your day today, take a moment to remember him.

General Quincy/South Shore area.
TGS heard on it include 109, 110.
159.9125 isn't in the standard FCC channel plan, which makes this even more interesting.

Re: The Mystery DMR Wiki and Thread.
Mike has 463.8750 listed as an unknown NXDN. It's actually part of the County Communications NXDN96 site in Georgetown. TG700 is a cab company not an ambulance, although these days it's not always easy to tell. TG300 is Northeast Regional Ambulance, which formerly was on the LTR system. Once we've ...

Re: SDS100 P25 Conventional
After a few years of going back and forth I finally picked up a SDS100. So far it seems to be significantly better than my 436 at monitoring COMIRS and I've found it to be solid on UHF analog as well as DMR and NXDN. However I've noticed that it's not doing as well as the 436 in terms of picking up...

Re: General Attic Antenna Observation - Looking For Input
And don't forget that a center folded dipole isn't truly omni directional. They tend to have pattern distortion "in-line" between the antenna and mounting pole*. Try rotating your dipole 90° on axis and see what changes. Usually the antenna manufacturers will make the offset mount specific to minimi...

Re: Trouble receiving Cape Fire.
So based on your PDF file, and I know little to nothing about FreeScan, is that you combined the frequencies of multiple cape sites into one site. You need to have each zone as a separate site. When you put in Zone 04 and if you put in Zone 11, both of those sites have been rebanded, but your offset...

Re: Trouble receiving Cape Fire.
Hi All, Having trouble receiving the control channel(s) on the cape fire trunk system. Don't seem to be receiving the control channel. Any suggestions? Thanks. When you say the "Cape Fire Trunk system", do you mean the MSP trunk? If so, which MSP zone are you trying to receive? There are four that ...

NAC codes in the wiki
Just a heads up, that all NAC codes listed in our wiki are in Hexidecimal (hex) mode, not decimal.
If you are submitting information for the DB, make sure you are also submitting in Hex.

Re: Worth moving antenna to attic?
If your relegated to an indoor antenna, then the answer is yes. But keep it about 2-3 away from the roof shingles. I have an attic antenna at my parents house out in the Berkshires and have fantastic reception with it.

If you or your loved ones have a mystery DMR, and can't find who it is on any of the databases OR directories, post it in this thread, and we'll add it. And likewise, if you know who one of the users listed...

Re: Welcome to Scanning 101
The two biggest things if you're not familiar with it right out of the box to get to know very well with operating the scanner. 1) Understanding scan lists and turning them on and off 2) Understanding "service types" and turning those on and off. The service types are the biggest gotchya that catche...
