Definitely on .49375, it won't decode on .5000.

451.49375 IDAS

Hearing constant data "pulses" followed by the occasional conversation on TG 1-80, which sounds like a transportation company. Heard the other week comms about "going into Waltham". Today heard comms about coming from a body shop. All has been quite strong here in Taunton. Bill picked it up in Weymo...

I knew we'd figure it out eventually, excellent work by all. Are you still only seeing one TG on the frequency?
Yes, so far only TG27 TS1

Re: 461.5625 DMR

For the past month or so I've been picking DMR traffic on 461.5625 with a Color Code of 11. Reception from the Revere area has been marginal but so far I've been able to pick up TG 27 Timeslot 1. What traffic I could hear strongly leads me to believe that it's a hospital security/operations channel...

Re: 125.000 mhz AM

Don't rule that out as your only source, move systematically room by room and/or breaker to breaker I 2nd this. I had an issue with some pretty broadband noise across the FM band at my house. I was able to hear it on a portable radio, so I went to the basement, and turned off the breakers one by on...

Re: 461.5625 DMR

I am line of sight to Brockton from my house and can pick up most of the UHF DMR and conventional users in the city. Including both Good Sam and Brockton.
I haven't heard a peep on this from my house with the UHF antenna.

Rest In Peace - USCP Officer Evans

Office Evans is being laid to rest today in North Adams. He was a graduate of Drury High School and Western New England University.

We remember everything he did for us, and the ultimate sacrifice he gave.

Please throughout your day today, take a moment to remember him.

159.9125 C02 CAP+

General Quincy/South Shore area.

TGS heard on it include 109, 110.

159.9125 isn't in the standard FCC channel plan, which makes this even more interesting.

Heard from my home in Taunton, on my high gain UHF north facing antenna.

Rapid fire DTMF tones, followed by a single tone, then silence.

Not strong here.

Re: The Mystery DMR Wiki and Thread.

Mike has 463.8750 listed as an unknown NXDN. It's actually part of the County Communications NXDN96 site in Georgetown. TG700 is a cab company not an ambulance, although these days it's not always easy to tell. TG300 is Northeast Regional Ambulance, which formerly was on the LTR system. Once we've ...

Re: SDS100 P25 Conventional

After a few years of going back and forth I finally picked up a SDS100. So far it seems to be significantly better than my 436 at monitoring COMIRS and I've found it to be solid on UHF analog as well as DMR and NXDN. However I've noticed that it's not doing as well as the 436 in terms of picking up...

Re: General Attic Antenna Observation - Looking For Input

And don't forget that a center folded dipole isn't truly omni directional. They tend to have pattern distortion "in-line" between the antenna and mounting pole*. Try rotating your dipole 90° on axis and see what changes. Usually the antenna manufacturers will make the offset mount specific to minimi...

Re: Trouble receiving Cape Fire.

So based on your PDF file, and I know little to nothing about FreeScan, is that you combined the frequencies of multiple cape sites into one site. You need to have each zone as a separate site. When you put in Zone 04 and if you put in Zone 11, both of those sites have been rebanded, but your offset...

Re: Trouble receiving Cape Fire.

Hi All, Having trouble receiving the control channel(s) on the cape fire trunk system. Don't seem to be receiving the control channel. Any suggestions? Thanks. When you say the "Cape Fire Trunk system", do you mean the MSP trunk? If so, which MSP zone are you trying to receive? There are four that ...

Just a heads up, that all NAC codes listed in our wiki are in Hexidecimal (hex) mode, not decimal.
If you are submitting information for the DB, make sure you are also submitting in Hex.

Re: Worth moving antenna to attic?

If your relegated to an indoor antenna, then the answer is yes. But keep it about 2-3 away from the roof shingles. I have an attic antenna at my parents house out in the Berkshires and have fantastic reception with it.
