Then it's not full time anymore. I wonder what it is being used for if it's off and on again now?

BPD B2/B3 no longer patched to Ch. 11

For several months, B2/B3 (Roxbury & Mattapan) have been cross patched to Ch. 11.

It appears at some point around Thanksgiving the patch was dropped.

I will say having that up was nice, as Ch 11's coverage (meant for the whole city) meant I got a much better signal down here.

Well I stand corrected. They no longer have a helicopter. The only newsroom in this competitive five newsroom market without one.

Re: News copters and buff networks: the highlights

The last I knew, they were sharing it with WBZ. They had one, but got rid of it along with their helicopter report. Doug something, I think. Someone else might have a better recollection. Metro Networks helo is N8369F and is Route 1 up near Danvers. N38BZ which I think it WBZ, is coming back from t...

Re: News copters and buff networks: the highlights

On that note -- does Fox 25 have a helicopter anymore? The frequency has been quiet. IIRC, there was a weird incident where they let a West-coast station borrow their helicopter a few years back and it crashed out there. Did they ever replace it? So Fox25, like everyone in this market, leases their...

Just do a single one per state, but in the submission separate by county, please.

And you can quote the wiki lines and bold the changes, that is ok. Or just clearly indicate that the line is a reconfirmation.

The Canadian allocation is 156.960. There are no records of anything up in that range on the eastern side of the continent.

I wonder if you were hearing some intermod of some kind.

Whitman ARC Winterfest 23 - January 21, 2023

Great way to break up winter is by going to the Whitman ARC Winterfest. January 21, 2023 - 9am to 1pm. Knights of Columbus on Route 18, just south of Abington. Easy to get to, easy to park. Always a fun time. Great gathering of locals too. Only $5 to enter, and there are raffle prizes! (Tables are $...

Heard while in Dedham today. Not strong but clear enough that it was someone looking for someone's mom. Possibly Dedham Schools or it could be MOS with a new DPL tone.

So this was originally thought to be used at the Big E, but I am now second guessing this. I heard it last night being used. 20:00ish, while on the MassPike near Westfield. The issue I had is the audio is so low it was hard to hear what it is being used for. The thought on the Big E thread CG though...

Re: Watertown Fire - P25

Perhaps a bigger issue overall was two adjacent towns sharing a frequency because neither was thought to be busy enough to need their own channel. Canton/Stoughton and Milton/Randolph come to mind. There were even more in Plymouth and Bristol Counties. 482.8125 N997 is still shared by Acushnet, Fai...

The way it’s worded it makes me think that they will continue using 151.34 but be dispatched by NHSP as has been discussed with NHSP hq using a console that can go between different frequencies for tge state police, what makes it any different for fish and game? NHSP troop d uses 156.21, troop b us...

??? CLMRN sites are all based on troop sites. (A, B, C.). Within those are fill in sites. (Old Lyme, Watertown, etc). So even though New Britain is listed as a Simulcast, it's actually a Campus site and should be it's own system?
Bridgeport, New Britain are both simulcasts, but they're single "sites".
