Re: Garth Brooks at Gillette
Apparently it was a royal cluster f--k. I have friends in the area who said almost all the side streets were inundated with WAZE lost drivers. Took 2-3 hours to get from the Wrentham 495-Route 1 exit to the stadium at the peak, which is rather unusual. Sounds like lots weren't open early enough and ...

Re: Quincy Police
Here is my comment, and the last comment on this, on this thread.... As both the owner here, and an admin there, I follow a couple of simple rules. 1) I do not copy information from one site to another. 2) Information I put into the DB over there is either a) something I've confirmed myself, or b) s...

Re: Quincy Police
As Kenny mentions once the data makes it to the RRDB, it will take a week for then Uniden to get it into their next preloaded update. In the mean time , you can always manually add them to your Favorite lists (I think that is what the SDS calls them) The Sentinel Update has the F1 P25 on it. F2 and...

Re: Quincy Police
It's smart, but somewhat unusual in municipal planning to get more sites that you might actually need. Of course if experience shows that the extra sites are needed then they are available. Not if you're doing a simulcast like Quincy is. Especially over a city with such variable terrain and size as...

Re: Quincy Police
I seem to remember reading an article that said that they were going to use three sites. Bill might remember or he might have posted the link. It was probably close to two years ago, so anything could have changed. I have the SDS100 locked on to Channel 1 now, so I'll see if it improved since yeste...

Re: Quincy Police
I've been trying to receive it from the South Shore as well as from Cambridge with no luck, it's not encrypted is it? Is the signal putting out much power? Thanks for the help. Very likely they're using a 5 site LSM system. Which means: fantastic coverage in the city, and lousy coverage outside of ...

Re: Call Sign Nostalgia
Out in the beautiful Berkshires, Great Barrington fire still refers to dispatch as "849", a relic of the long expired call sign KCB849. Around here Raynham PD still refers to their dispatch by their call sign.

Re: Fryeburg Area fire
Based on the scanner feed, most of the operations were on "Conway 2". With Conway 1 (the one that was streamed) being used between the IC and the dispatcher.

Re: Holyoke PD Auxiliary channel
I am assuming you heard this on TS1? Would be interesting to find out if TG1003 ever shows up on 151.1900 TS1, which is the only remaining, never IDed group there. I had heard 1003 several years ago when they switched over. Memory is not 100% but perhaps Fire Marshal? I think it was on the 151.1900...

Do with this as you will, guys - I know I speak for Bill (ecps92) when I say this, but this is an excellent submission! It's very rare a single submission gets a whole section of the wiki added. As you get more details, like talkgroups or the missing site name, feel free to submit them. You can add...

Re: 451.1000 DMR
Having trouble with this one, as I am not able to get a decent bearing on it with the beam, for a few months now. Only ID to help is Coloure Code of 4 no Talkgroups observered nor any audio loggings. Anyone else ? Two questions. 1) What bearing are you getting it at? 2) What's a Coloure?...

464.9125 NAC of 464h
From Taunton on the UHF beam. There is some slight UHF enhancement to the north tonight.

Several references to "SG-" and why people were at SG3 versus SG4. SG refers to Scientific Gaming, the electronic tables used at Twin River installed in 2018.

Not enough traffic to make out where or what service is using this Heard while in Waltham on Monday searching for BAA and MANG traffic in other bands. Nothing in the Wiki and too many FCC licenses for Repeaters. Take a listen, North, South, West of Boston see if you can help narrow down this user[s...
