Hmm I just heard them close down Ch1 but it had been so quiet I didn't even realize they were using it.

Very low key this year just be handled on the district channels Area A and Area D.

In Newton I constantly hear them using thier Medic (Transformative branded for the city) units to do transfers from Newton Wellesley to Boston hospitals.

They did it every hour.

Around 11am there was a 100MPH + chase on the Mass Pike on C-PTL-3 and they lost the car as they got on 84. The car was found near exit 3 unattended and there was a search on SOPS-7 for most of the day. They called it a while ago.

I will say as a regular user of P25 on several radios it is amazing how you can use it right through what would be total noise in analog use. Of course right after that you hit a brick wall and break up but any idiot who tells you analog works farther is just liar or someone who has never tried it.
