I understand there will be a lot of Tetra at this event this year since the Westborough P25 repeater is down. The analog 900MHz repeater will be ther as usual and I will have 5 loaner radios as usual for that.

We all take Friday off for these things. Friday is always the biggest day. What we need is both sellers and buyers to show up on Sunday that is the day that is always a ghost town.

The EDACs system had a transmitter on Mt. Asnebumskit in Paxton so that got out well. The newer P25 simulcast does not.

It seems the additional Shrewsbury sites really improved it's foot print east. Not sure why but it did.

On P25 it indicates encryption I would guess it is the same for those. It just a goofy noise the scanner makes when encryption is in progress.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that the National Guard units had Harris radios.

Everyone needs to have APX's for it to work. If an XTS or XTL joins them the talkgroup reverts back to Phase 1. The DCR has a lot of new radios and the 700 works real well for them.

Several are depending on the radios affiliated at the moment. Often the Statehouse talk group is and sometimes Harbor 1 and 2. The way it works is as long as everyone who is affiliated is capable the talkgroup go Phase 2 to save space. If an older radio joins them the talk group will switch to Phase...
