What I have always noticed when in range of the Massport system as that with all the door checks and more that it is a very active channel. Where the one sometimes heard on site 1 and 700 is not. W1ASS has posted on the GEMOTO list that this repeater actually may be back on the air by the fest on Friday! He's also said that he plans to be at the fest. Most of the newer P25 systems are done almost completely by affiliation so I would guess we might be moving more towards that. I'm sure some will be programmed to go out of range to save bandwidth but the wide area programming may disappear. That will make that less important in the list as long as ...
