Re: Dispatch LTR updates
The bold works well for me. Once I figured out what you were doing, it made sense. I'll try to get the changes made later today. :nods: Exactly as you say -- red is a deletion, green is an addition, but changes within a line show up as both back-to-back with the changed portion highlighted in bold. ...

Re: Dispatch LTR updates
I took a quick look at the github page. It's a bit too late for me to do a deep dive, but if I understand what I was seeing red are the existing entries and green are your proposed changes. The red entries should be replaced with the green entries and any red entries without corresponding green entr...

Thanks. It's always surprised me that the DOT uses UHF, but that's just me.

Re: Antenna for picking up Worcester P25.
Where was the water getting into the antenna? I have a Tram 1410 and if I have to take it down and seal it, I'd like to have an idea of what to look for. Thanks. Here's what I did and found. Uniden BCD536hp, Tram Discone antenna on top of a 25 foot mast. 1000 feet above sea level. 1. Upgraded the 30...

151.9175 continues to identify as Cap+ with DCC03. Currently the Rest Channel.

Re: 151.8425 DMR-TIII CC05
Update: DSD reported lost control channel, and just came back showing Network L6-1.2. Same DCC. Some testing going on perhaps.
I had it set up in DSDPLus as TIII, 5, 5.1 with 151.8425 as LCN1.
I also tried it was L5, but DSDPlus didn't like that.

Re: 151.8425 DMR-TIII CC05
Is there any reason to think that they haven't or aren't changed over to a T3 system? During a school vacation break would be a good time to do this. We may know tomorrow if they system starts to carry the same type of traffic as the DCC03 system did. While their offices are in Merrimack, except for...

Re: 151.8425 DMR-TIII CC05
Very strong signal in Stoughton. Also seeing TIII (MOT) Site:L5-1 DCC:5 NL2. WQSW689 Data Radio Management, licensed out of Merimack, NH. Same outfit that has a Cap+ system for Boston public schools. And I think it's the same outfit that has a VHF NXDN trunk for school buses in RI. Part 22 frequenci...

Re: Reconfirmation: Trinity EMS
I see what you're saying. The Private Ambulance page also shows 155.160 twice, so some clean up is in order. I'll try to get to it tonight. Interesting -- I was going to comment that Trinity isn't due for reconfirmation, but it looks like "Lowell General EMS" is listed separately and hasn'...

Re: Multicoupler
Thanks. The physical layout of the splitter I plan to use is a bit different than what you have, but that's a matter of changing one jumper from what you are using. I'm going to go ahead and order the rest from Amazon and see how it goes. Even though I'm 144 feet above sea level, reception is iffy a...

Re: Multicoupler
As it happens while looking for something else I came across an Antonix CMC2008V splitter. 5Mhz to 1Ghz -11db out.
It seems to be the equivalent of the splitter has in his RR post.
Unless there is an advantage to the other one, I have one component for the project.

Re: USB Programming cable for BC996XT
I had one Prolific chip, but that was in a USB based GPS puck right around the time Windows 8 came out. Back in the days before Waze, it came in handy along with Microsoft Streets & Trips when I was traveling and didn't have my Garmin with me. Ahhh, the pre Waze days. Actually, Streets and Trips...

Re: Multicoupler
I'll wait for your review and conclusions. No sense in me duplicating your work since you seem to have a good idea of what's going on. Unlike me. ;) Personally I never had any issues with the Electroline at all but I've always used the "02" models that just overcome the signal loss of spli...

Re: Multicoupler
I have some of the minor components and saved the rest to my Wish List on Amazon. I was more referring to prcguy's comments about CATV amp versus a radio amp. If that makes sense. Since it's short money, I can buy what I need as soon as you're satisfied it works okay. If I can try to help clear up s...

Re: USB Programming cable for BC996XT
I always had great success with USB to Serial adapters using the FTDI chip set. I think it was the Prolific chip set that wouldn't work with Windows versions after Win7.
I may still have a few I/O gear ones lying around.

I'll go back to the RR thread and check again. I might have just missed it. I've been reading and posting between doing work. Pesky work always seems to get in the way of fun. ETA: I did look at your list, and then the comments by prcguy. So, now I'm even more confused. Hey Rich, nice to see you her...

I received a nice year end bonus from my boss. I've been thinking about upgrading the TV splitter that I currently use since it's only marginal as far as I can tell. I've lived in the same house for 42 years and scanner reception has always been an issue to the northeast. That's because Big Blue sit...

I got that, I think.
I reconfirmed Bedford FD on 156.1800 since you submitted it in 2019. Reconfirmed Amherst FD, confirmed Amherst PD, reconfirmed Bedford PD.
Thanks.
