157.470...found this earlier today, It is a DMR Tier 3 system identifying as Site: L7-19 with a CC of 0. Neighbors are 17, 18, 20.

Either I'm totally botching the search for it or it is Nova Scotia Power. The frequency only matches that system, but the site info does not line up. Very strong signal here but no TG activity.

I activated the NYPD system on my 996P2 and they are blasting in at full scale.

For those that may have an interest in DX'ing but you think you don't have a good enough antenna system to do so, this is one of those openings where you probably don't need one. I've gone out in my backyard and listened to NYPD on just a rubber duckie under these conditions. Give your setup a try; you may be surprised by the results. Openings of this intensity don't happen often or hang in there for as long as this one has.

This is where using SDR technology can become a little overwhelming. Look at all those signals between 151 and 155 MHz. This is using my IC-R8600 with SDR#. This is the best opening I've seen in a long time.

Hello,

Looking at the Canadian TAFL, Nova Scotia Power uses 157.545 and 157.470 at multiple sites. It appears sites 19 and 20 are in the southern part of Nova Scotia.
