with the normal suspects of MSCommNet tower sites, both the P25 Trunk and Analog interops

Conditions seem good this evening as well, getting Suffolk County NY EMS on 155.280 156.7 and Southold NY Police on 155.850, both very strong. Lots more signals present in the 155 MHz area as well.

154.4300 is a treasure trove of DX right now:

103.5 PL Hamilton Township, Mercer County, NJ EMS
179.9 PL Cumberland County NJ EMS
192.8 PL Possibly Camden County NJ Fire & EMS
151.4 PL Monmouth County NJ Fire Dispatch
136.5 PL Likely SWNH Fire & Mutual Aid, fighting with any of the above so thus far difficult to decipher but that's what the transmission sounds like to me.

Another great band opening. Both Environment Canada WX frequencies, 161.650 and 161.775 are in there now but the opening seems to continue to the south from here more prominently. Tried UHF a little bit ago but nothing yet. 154.430 continues to have a lot of traffic from NJ area.

This is going in both directions in a big way. Also heard some vessel traffic control on Marine CH14 (156.700) mentioning the Verrazano Bridge, which of course connects Brooklyn to Staten Island in NY City.

It's part of T-Band which covers 470-512MHz. While the Boston market only uses 470-476 and 482-488MHz, the NY market has some assignments up above 500MHz.
