Dukes County New ? Repeater ?

#1 Post by jeffkett » 16 May 2019 13:16

Not sure if this has been mentioned before. Looks like Dukes County PD is on a new freq. 155.4375 Rpt 100.0 . Referred to as TAC 1. WQWW680 was granted back on 2015 but I don't have anything in my Island notes. 860 is the Dispatch with units Delta, Oscar, Whiskey.
Delta. Dukes Cty
Oscar. Oak Bluffs
Whiskey. West Tisbury. Etc.....

Any idea if this is a County frequency or specific to a Department?

Today was my first day hearing this . It appears to be Island Wide . Will need to give it some more air time!

Was down in Falmouth/ Woods Hole area today. Was picking up more testing on this freq. 5:20 pm getting it nicely in Sandwich. It may be related to a certain VIP operation on Martha's Vineyard ? Jeff ( "J W L on site" )
