I don’t hear 857.4125 very well from my location, but it’s been quiet as far as I can tell.
This will be great if it lasts.

Bourne, Sandwich and Yarmouth are all using the Trunk system. Does this mean they have abandon their conventional 800 frequencies???? Anyone in the know???

Ongoing issues with equipment. Not sure what the plans are when the new CoMIRS arrives, but I expect all conventional 800 MHz departments will hold onto their conventional frequencies. I just renewed the one I am in control of, through 2031, although we use the state police system for primary operations.

All these additional full time users over past couple of months...would be nice if they start adding in some new frequencies?

It would be nice. I can barely hear Bourne from my house in the Mills on conventional.

Keep in mind tho,. as ComIRS moves in, there will [based on the FCC documents we have seen] more little sites vs large wide-area sides, so Bourne may still not be heard as well

From an "unknown" source.... it seems that the Bourne Water Dept bored thru an 1800 pair Verizon cable in front of the Buzzards Bay Central Office.
It's a paper cable and the issue is being worked on to repair it.

Does anyone know why Bourne PD does not use 38128 all of the time?
Thanks

just guessing but I think it would be coverage issues. They probably have several voting receivers around the town that they do not have on the state talkgroup.

Bourne Police were just heard on 857.4125 D445, so apparently their radio issue was resolved.
