Medford Fire Channel 2

#1 Post by ecps92 » 16 Feb 2019 07:40

Medford had a W/F this am and they indicated to Metro Fire that the Fireground Channel was "Channel 2"

Searched a bit, could not find anything in the FCC, SNE Wiki or via the Scanner[s]

anyone know if this might be Simplex of Channel 1 or another Repeater.

There was no traffic on Metro Fire Firegrounds

Their run card lists their fireground channel as Metro North which should be 482.1875 PL 141.3 simplex.

On firenews.org they list the fireground as the input of their channel 1.

Not sure what they're actually using.

I can confirm that Medford uses the Metro North District Fireground (482.1875 - 141.3) as their Channel 2. It is simplex, so you won't hear anything unless you are in the immediate vicinity (which I was, recently).
