Boston Police reporting a 4 ship flyover for tomorrow's Red Sox home opener with 2 F-15's from the MA ANG and 2 F-35's from the VT ANG, scheduled for 1:55 PM

They hung out on 241.95 while they were doing a low approach at Hanscom and orbiting north of Boston, then contacted Boston on 263.1 for the flyby

After the flyby, all 4 aircraft headed up to Yankee Laser for some dogfighting - VT ANG continued to use 241.95. F-15s Skohl Flight, F-35s Tang Flight
Once they left Boston, F-35s changed callsigns to Titan flight.

Seems like they flew much higher than usual over Fenway and then over south Newton. On the Sox broadcast the TV guys even said they heard them but never saw them.

I was walking outside the ballpark and they were very clear and seemed the usual low height. The sound comes later due to that slow speed of sound thing.

Maybe that's what scared Corey Kluber and made him pitch so poorly.

They missed on the fly-by by about 500'
They flew just west of the park, not even over it.
I was on the third base side and heard them, but didn't see them.
Hope they're better getting to a real target!!

I was walking down Ipswich Street and they seeemd to come right over the park and over my head. Sound got there a couple of minutes later.
