Watertown Police and Fire activity?

I've been listening for hours this afternoon to the new Watertown channels from receive sites in Newton and Cambridge and have not heard a peep (checking both digital and analog just in case). Wondering if these channels are not putting out much power (Watertown has never had a strong analog signal at least from my reception experience but obviously digital is much different) or if they're using MDT dispatch more and are just quiet for some reason?

I did just receive Watertown Fire on their old channel briefly.

There has been a lot of activity on both the analog and digital fire channels in the last 20 minutes. The police channel has been fairly quiet, but I have heard some transmissions throughout the day. I don’t know whether that is normal or not because I don’t regularly monitor them.

I was in Lexington most of my life but I’m now in Waltham. I’m receiving all of the channels on my 436 with the stock antenna. The digital transmissions seem very clear when I receive them but I don’t know yet whether I missing any. I’m not sure whether they are done tweaking their system. The quality of the analog and digital fire transmissions varied during the day yesterday during their testing. it seemed better and more consistent today.
