Westfield area PVTA frequencies?

#1 Post by aleckrohto » 30 Mar 2019 15:33

Hi all. I am just wondering if anybody out in the Westfield area knows what frequencies the PVTA uses for its buses? I assume it is also a NXDN system, however I am just wondering what frequencies I should program into my scanner as the Pelham site will not obviously reach down here. I do have a strong hit on a frequency of 452.625 which is licensed by them, however I am not sure how I would program that for NXDN trunking on a Uniden SDS100? Thanks.

There is more to the PVTA communications than the Pelham Trunked UMASS system but that is all that has been confirmed.

Many of the frequencies on this license (including the one you had found)
https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSea ... ey=1920250
are unmonitorable data from what I assume is the MDT/AVL system that is used.

There is an 800MHz system licensed as well. The one active frequency I copy uses DMR TIII (Hytera). It is 854.5875 and is licensed in Pelham.
