I'll have to find out if they installed any of those repeaters yet. I have access to one of the tower sites listed and know the site manager there.

this is a STA license, not a permanent one. The 2 STA letters seem to suggest the testing is for the police dept.

This STA license references PD call sign WRDU533 (issued 7/23/19). The STA testing freq is 453.625 Rptrs. So I'm guessing they are testing it before they plan to add it permanently add it on to WRDU533, is my opinion based upon the evidence. This STA license expires on 5/20/20, and they have been testing it since 2/18, through end of April.

Never trust what radio service folks tell the FCC :-) The Fire Chief is William Flaherty, the name on the STA, Police Chief is Paul Conner (was Duffy in 2019).
If I was looking for a new public safety radio system in MA, I would look long and hard at the CoMIRS option with free radios from the state. However, I think the COVID pandemic will affect municipal spending for many years to come, wouldn't be surprised to see some new systems postponed.

thanks Chris for the update! I just added it to my scanner to see if I hear it. I'm Central MA, too far east, but I will try.

The license contact is "CHIEF WILLIAM FLAHERTY".

The control point address(es) are for two of the fire stations.

It's right on the license if you look at it.
